Empowering Whānau, Enriching Culture

A Safe Space for Māori Identity and Community Growth

Our Mission
Horahora Paa (Horahora Marae Trust) is committed to serving Māori whānau in the Waikato region by providing a marae-based centre of belonging, learning, and wellbeing. Our mission is to uphold and protect tikanga Māori and te reo Māori, ensuring that cultural knowledge, values, and traditions are passed on to future generations. We strive to empower whānau through programs that strengthen identity, provide education and mentoring for rangatahi, support health and social wellbeing, and create opportunities for growth and leadership. By working in partnership with iwi, hapū, and community agencies, we aim to build stronger connections, celebrate our heritage, and achieve sustainable outcomes that uplift our people and our land.
